Amposta Exchange

Amposta Exchange is a project created by Idiomes Carmen Elias in order to make it easy and affordable for students to learn and practise a language in the country where it is spoken. We foster the mobility between the Amposta area (Montsià, Terres de l'Ebre, Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain) and other countries such as England, Malta, The United States, France and any other country wishing to establish a language relationship with us.

With Amposta Exchange you can:

• Travel to Amposta (in Catalonia, Spain) or nearby towns with a group of students and a leader and stay with Spanish families.
• Have Spanish classes in Spain. In a pretty town called Amposta, on the East coast (Costa Dorada).
• Have guided tours of our Ebro Delta, excursions and activities.
• Go on one-day tours to the capital cities of Tarragona, Barcelona or Valencia.
• Come on your own, with your family or group of friends to have Spanish classes in Amposta and choose the kind of accommodation which suits you best.
• Offer accommodation in your house for a Spanish person and arrange for an exchange.

 N.B.: Students who are not coming with a leader from a school or institution shall provide a police clearance certificate and a reference letter from a school, town hall or work place if they apply for a home stay. This is to guarantee safety and only original documents will be accepted.
